Join us on for an exciting workshop featuring Dr. Christopher Lepre, Assistant Professor of Geology School of Earth, Environment and Society Bowling Green State University.


Dr. Lepre is seeking San Juan College students, along with those working on bachelor's and doctorate degrees, for local summer internship opportunities. During this session, Dr. Lepre will:

  • Present his cutting-edge research on the role of  hematite in uranium contamination
  • Discuss ways to engage with local communities
  • Offer mentorship on impactful research projects
  • Highlight grant-supported summer internships for students
